Last week, my friend and coworker David Young had the blind audacity to actually ask a lady to spend the rest of her life with him. Crazier still: She agreed to it! Seriously!

Now that he’s engaged, David has realized two things: 1) Love is a beautiful and infinite compromise that challenges and rewards you every second of every day… and 2)The ULTIMATE WEDDING costs $100,000 and CRATE and BARREL is gonna help MAKE YOUR DREAM WEDDING COME TRUE!

In order to win that $100,000, David needs to garner enough votes to put him into the upper echelon of entires. This obviously means a lot to Dave as he suffered through the humiliation of emailing me and all of his other friends to help him win (do you realize how much respect he’s lost by doing this? It’s really desperate.)

Because writing comedy and co-hosting a video game web show for a living isn’t enough to satiate his creative desires, CollegeHumor Co-Worker Extraordinarre Pat Cassels has recently started a blog devoted to his two favorite passions: film and slightly dated pop-culture.

It’s called it’s called Ten Year Old Movies (http://10yearoldmovies.com), and it’s a blog devoted to dissecting movies that have come out exactly ten years ago, “with the wisdom of a decades hindsight.”

It’s a very niche idea but if hearing movie titles like “Down to you” and “What Planet Are You From?” makes you smile then you will LOVE IT! Check it out.
