Maine Event

Back from Acadia National Park in Maine where I went camping for the first time. I have hundreds of pictures to sort through, but these are three that I took from the top, middle, and bottom of Bar Harbor.

A Rare Internet Find…

I did it! I found a negative Wall-E review!

Granted it sounds like it was written by an abusive/stupid parent, but it seems genuine!

Saucy Mike Mossy

I’ve got another website you guys are gonna love!

My friend Mike Moss has such a unique way of communicating, and his matter-of-fact pedagogy is really entertaining to watch. Luckily for everybody, my OTHER friends — Josh Heller, and Shawn Pearlman — are going shopping with him at various thrift stores around NYC, and taping the experience.

So far there have been three episodes, each great in their own way — and I have been assured there is at least one more coming! It’s my new favorite internet video series, so if you have the time, check it out!

Is it weird that these reviews just make me wanna see “Love Guru” even more now, than ever before?

GiancarLOL Fiorentini

I just found out that Giancarlo Fiorentini, one of the two dudes who wrote and directed the NYU short film I was in, has a blog.

And not only that, but Giancarlo Fiorentini’s blog is really funny!

Don’t wanna click yet? Is my word not valuable enough? Well, here’s just a single example of what awaits you:

(from Giancarlo Fiorentini’s blog)
1977 Best Screenplay: “A relationship, I think, is like a shark. You know? It has to constantly move forward or it dies. And I think what we got on our hands is a dead shark.”

2007 Best Screenplay: “This is one diddle that can’t be undid, home-skillet.”

So if you have a tumblr account, and you don’t mind finding occasional humorous jokes in your dashboard do yourself a favor and start following Giancarlo Fiorentini’s blog. That’s GiancarloFiorentini.tumblr.com.

(I put him in my RSS feed not two days ago and have yet to regret it! That name again is Giancarlo Fiorentini.)

Keep it Cymbal, Stupid.

Remember that weird idea I had for a t-shirt? You know, the one I had last August?

Come on! You remember. The one that had a picture of a cymbal on it. And the text read “Cymbal and Ready to Mymbal?”

Anyway, 10 months later, not only did that shirt become a reality, but BustedTees even let me model it!

I feel like I won some sort of contest. Where the entrance fee was nine months of begging.

Admittedly, the idea is, at best, stupidly charming. However, BT designer Dave Trawin did an awesome job of turning it into a work of wearable art. The shirt looks better than I ever imagined.

I got one for free, but if you’re interested, you can buy one here! Remember, each shirt sold is another argument that I’m not a complete idiot!

The Tony’s and Game 5 of the NBA Finals are both on TV right now.

That sound you hear is nobody being conflicted.

We’ve got a great show tonight!

Another One Year Anniversary!

Firstly, I’d just like to point out that it’s been three years since I moved to New York, two years since my one year anniversary, and one year since the anniversary of that anniversary!

Secondly, as I enter my junior year in New York I can’t help but think about all the important life lessons that I’ve learned — lessons that are so valuable to pass on. None more important than the most important lesson of them all.

Lastly, when I think of all the memories I’ve made since last year’s anniversary, one truly stands out above the rest.

Good night!
